CNC Milling Lathe Machinist | 2nd Shift

Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist

Shift: 2nd | Hours: 3 PM - 11 PM

Employment Type: Full-Time | Mode: Direct Placement

Pay Scale: $25 - $32/hr | Industry: Manufacturing

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist with a strong background in 5-Axis machining. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and adjusting CNC machines with minimal supervision to produce high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines (3, 4, and 5-Axis) according to blueprint specifications.
• Make machine adjustments and troubleshoot controllers, machines, and processes.
• Select appropriate tools and set feeds and speeds to meet production requirements.
• Perform inspections of machined parts using precision hand tools to ensure quality standards.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and maintain productivity.
• Lift up to 70 lbs. as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Monitor inventory and reorder tools as necessary.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 8-10 years of CNC Machining (Lathe) experience in CNC 3 & 4-Axis lathe setup and operation.
• Aerospace background is preferred.
