Laskey Costello is seeking an experienced Office Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our family-owned, growing public accounting firm in Lakewood, Ohio. The ideal candidate is organized, welcoming, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a wide range of administrative and client-facing responsibilities in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and efficient manner.
- Welcome clients and serve as a primary point of contact for visitors.
- Schedule appointments and maintain partner calendars.
- Manage and update client data accurately and confidentially.
- Maintain the firm’s project management system and serve as the point of contact for related questions and issues.
- Manage accounts receivable and process client payments.
- Prepare written communications for the firm, including letters, emails, and other correspondence.
- Order office supplies and coordinate maintenance as needed.
- Provide administrative support to firm staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills and a professional, welcoming presence.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
- Dependable, flexible, and organized with a strong work ethic.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with project management systems and QuickBooks is a plus.
All candidates must be available to work 50+ hours per week during tax season (January through May) and 36 hours per week (8-4 M-TH, 8-12 F) from May through December.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.75 - $21.50 per hour
