Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick, pack, and process customer orders
- Perform order picking and fulfillment tasks with precision, ensuring timely shipment of products
- Handle materials with care during stocking, inventory replenishment, and quality control checks
- Assist in shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation
- Pack products securely for shipment, ensuring packaging meets quality standards and protects items during transit
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by adhering to safety protocols and conducting routine inspections of equipment and storage areas
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with distribution centers is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Hands-on experience operating equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, or mechanical loaders is highly desirable
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar software is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and operate heavy machinery safely
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with heavy equipment operation enhances your effectiveness in this role
- Strong attention to detail for quality control, order accuracy, and inventory management
- Excellent physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, and moving materials throughout shifts
