Responsibilities

  • Care for seniors and clients with illness, injury, or chronic disease in their homes
  • Assist with daily activities (bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, nail/skin care, eating, nutrition)
  • Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range‑of‑motion exercises
  • Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose, and document changes
  • Observe patients and notify supervisor of issues requiring changes in care or medication or equipment

Qualifications

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Nursing Assistant Certification in Oregon
  • CPR certification
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation
  • Compassionate nature, good communication skills, ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
