Responsibilities
- Care for seniors and clients with illness, injury, or chronic disease in their homes
- Assist with daily activities (bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, nail/skin care, eating, nutrition)
- Assist with ambulation, transfers, and range‑of‑motion exercises
- Check vitals, measure intake/output, monitor blood glucose, and document changes
- Observe patients and notify supervisor of issues requiring changes in care or medication or equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and active Nursing Assistant Certification in Oregon
- CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and transportation
- Compassionate nature, good communication skills, ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
