Key Responsibilities Assemble specialized industrial machinery according to detailed engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions. Install mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical components with precision. Perform system checks and initial testing during the assembly process to identify and address any issues. Ensure all parts and assemblies meet strict quality control standards and specifications. Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments effectively. Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve assembly challenges and suggest improvements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations. Document assembly progress and any deviations or issues encountered. Assist with the disassembly and preparation of equipment for shipping as required. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the assembly department. Requirements Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial equipment assembly or a closely related mechanical assembly role. Proven ability to read and interpret complex mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of how components fit together. Proficiency in using a wide range of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment. Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems is a significant plus. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills for reporting progress and issues. Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift moderately heavy parts, and work in various assembly positions. A strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to procedures.
