Occupational Therapist; OT - Outpatient

Position: Occupational Therapist (OT) - Outpatient - Contract

A great Outpatient is looking for an experienced or newly graduated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join their growing team for a contract assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to assess medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, restrictions, and potential for rehabilitation.
• Establish and administer treatment programs with specific goals tailored to the patient’s capacity and tolerance under physician direction.
• Set realistic and achievable goals, document and record patient conditions, and educate patients and families in appropriate occupational therapy methods.
• Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.

Requirements

• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Must hold a current state license as an Occupational Therapist (OT), or be actively pursuing licensure.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Experience or readiness to provide occupational therapy services under physician orders.
