Job Description for Barista Supervisor:

As a Starbucks Barista Supervisor, you’ll be a role model for the operational standards that define the Starbucks Experience. You will lead each shift alongside a team of baristas to deliver exceptional customer service and expertly crafted beverages.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Skilled in task delegation and team coordination with a background of six months or more
  • Extended period of over six months interacting with customers in a service setting
  • Experience in customer service for a period of one year, with a preference for individuals with retail or restaurant experience
  • The ability to adhere to a schedule reliably and arrive on time, with or without necessary accommodations
  • Prepared to work flexible shifts that could involve early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and nights
  • Competent in supervising or tutoring individuals on how to cook and serve food and drinks following standard recipes, as well as individual preferences
  • Aptitude to follow through with operational procedures and benchmarks, such as safety regulations, financial handling, and the caliber of beverages dispensed
