Therapy Source is excited to announce multiple opportunities to support K–12 students through in-person services in Florida. We are currently recruiting for both Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs). These positions are for the upcoming school year and candidates must be available to start before students return on August 10, 2026.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Position Details:

  • $50.00–$60.00/hour (for SLPs with CCC-SLP, based on experience)
  • Full-time opportunities available (typically Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM–3:30 PM)
  • K–12 school-based caseloads
  • Must have active Florida Department of Health (DOH) Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Must have ability to obtain and maintain required school clearances/background (or already active)
  • Must have individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services aligned with student IEPs
  • Conduct evaluations, interpret results, and develop goals/recommendations
  • Support students’ communication skills for academic and social success
  • Maintain accurate documentation, service logs, and reports in required timelines
  • Collaborate with school teams and families to support student progress
  • (If applicable) Provide supervision/support related to SLPA services per site needs

Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Position Details:

  • $38.00–$42.00/hour (based on experience)
  • Full-time opportunities available (typically Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM–3:30 PM)
  • K–12 school-based caseloads
  • Must meet Florida SLPA registration/requirements to work as an SLPA
  • Must have ability to obtain and maintain required school clearances/background (or already active)
  • Must have individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Must have ability to work under the supervision of a Florida-licensed SLP (as required)
  • Provide speech-language services as delegated by the supervising SLP and aligned with IEPs
  • Implement treatment activities and document student performance/progress
  • Maintain accurate session notes and required documentation
  • Collaborate with school staff as directed, and communicate updates to the supervising SLP
  • Participate in meetings/trainings as required for the assignment (within role scope)
