Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for patient care, with expertise in assessing and treating communication disorders across diverse populations. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting individuals’ speech, language, and cognitive development through evidence-based practices. The Speech Language Pathologist will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive therapy services tailored to each patient's needs, particularly within pediatric and early intervention settings.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing functions using standardized tools and clinical observations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that align with patients’ goals and clinical best practices.
  • Deliver targeted speech therapy interventions to improve communication skills, including articulation, language comprehension, and social communication.
  • Support early intervention programs by working with infants and young children to promote developmental milestones.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to enhance communication abilities and manage speech or swallowing challenges effectively.
  • Monitor progress regularly, adjusting therapy techniques as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and patient progress in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and ensure comprehensive patient support.

Experience

  • Prior experience working with pediatric population is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated expertise in pediatric speech therapy and early intervention programs.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and patient assessment techniques relevant to speech-language pathology.
  • Proven ability to deliver patient-centered care while maintaining professionalism in clinical settings.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and families.
  • A valid state license or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist is required; additional certifications in pediatrics or early intervention are advantageous. SLPA welcome to apply.
