At i360technologies, we specialize in business consulting and technology services for federal agencies. We are seeking a General Ledger (GL) SME to support, a large-scale modernization effort to implement a standardized, cloud-based Core Financial System. This role will serve as the functional lead for all GL-related processes, ensuring compliance with USSGL, Treasury Financial Manual (TFM), and federal reporting standards , while supporting financial consolidation, reporting, and audit readiness across multiple agencies.
Responsibilities
GL Functional Design Configuration
Lead design and configuration of Chart of Accounts (COA) aligned with USSGL
Define journal entry processes (manual, automated, recurring)
Configure ledger structures (multi-entity, multi-fund)
Establish accounting rules for accruals, allocations, and eliminations
Financial Close Reporting
Design and optimize period-end and year-end close processes
Support trial balance validation and financial statement generation
Ensure compliance with Treasury reporting requirements (GTAS, FACTS II)
Data Migration Reconciliation
Define GL data mapping and opening balance strategies
Validate migrated balances and historical data integrity
Lead reconciliation between legacy systems and OneFM
Integration Testing
Support Subledger-to-GL integrations (AP, AR, Budget)
Lead GL testing scenarios (SIT/UAT) and validate end-to-end accounting flows
Support go-live readiness and post-implementation activities
Compliance Audit Support
Ensure compliance with USSGL, OMB A-136, and federal reporting standards
Support audit readiness, remediation, and internal controls (A-123)
Required Qualifications
10+ years of federal financial management experience
Deep expertise in General Ledger accounting and federal reporting
Strong knowledge of USSGL and Treasury Financial Manual (TFM)
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Workday)
Experience supporting financial close and reconciliation
Preferred Qualifications
CPA or CGFM
Experience supporting Treasury, BFS, or CFO Act agencies
Security Eligibility Requirements
Ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust (suitability) clearance
Must be able to pass a federal background investigation
U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required (no visa sponsorship available)
