The Janitorial Cleaner , under the direction of the Janitorial Supervisor or Manager, is responsible for performing janitorial duties for buildings and related areas. Quality customer service skills are required. Knowledge or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques is essential.
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our janitorial team. Ability to work independently and follow established cleaning procedures
Experience with restroom, office, and common-area cleaning
Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring and stairs.
Dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture that are not cluttered.
Cleaning windowsills and windows.
Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner.
Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition.
Proper labeling, dilution and use of all chemicals.
Wearing of proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
Other routine maintenance duties as assigned.
Engage with customers, visitors and clients.
Six months or more of related customer service and/or facility services related experience.
Floor care experience is a plus.
Good client/customer service skills.
