Job Description:

The Catering Team Member supports the event operations team in executing successful catering orders and events. This role includes setting up events, transporting equipment, food, and other supplies, serving guests during the event, and cleaning up after the event has ended.

Job Responsibilities:

• Event Logistics: Set up catering and event facilities according to the instructions provided by customers and banquet event procedures.
• Ensuring the reliable transportation and delivery of catering essentials, such as food, drinks, and equipment, to the designated event sites.
• Event Setup Execution: Prepare event spaces by setting up chairs, tables, buffet lines, and other specified event equipment according to the banquet event instructions.
• Continuously refresh food and beverage selections throughout the event.
• Maintain the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of food service areas to provide a pleasant dining experience for guests.
• Arrange the tidying up of food and drink deliveries post-service and disassemble event sections at the conclusion of the event.
• Ensure that customer service provided to event guests is of the highest caliber.
• Maintain safety compliance standards by strictly adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous Experience:
• Candidates with a history of customer service experience are favored.
• Preference is given to candidates with prior catering experience.
• Independence denotes the capability to function with independence and minimal supervision.
• Outfit compliance: It is important to comply with the outfit requirements set in place.
• Availability must extend to weekends and evenings to cater to event-driven work requirements.
• Compliance with Food Handling and Alcohol Service training standards is vital for this role.
• Engaging in activities that encompass lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged walking and standing.
• Complying with the uniform policy and applying the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed.
• The position favors candidates who hold a high school diploma or its comparable substitute.
