Role and Responsibilities:

In this role, you will contribute to effective warehouse operations by managing equipment, organizing inventory, and ensuring accurate product handling. You will support productivity while maintaining safety standards and assisting with daily logistics activities in a structured setting.

  • Operate forklift equipment safely after completing all required training and certification processes.
  • Load and unload pallets from trailers with attention to accuracy and product protection.
  • Organize and store items within multi-level warehouse storage systems.
  • Select and prepare product cases based on order specifications using warehouse tools.
  • Use handheld scanners and inventory systems to track and update stock levels.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through proper scanning and material handling procedures.
  • Carry out general cleaning tasks, including sweeping floors and maintaining trailer areas.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness across assigned workspaces.
  • Work flexible shifts in a warehouse environment that operates continuously.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to learn forklift operation and achieve required certification.
  • Capability to lift between 15 and 50 pounds, with or without accommodation.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
  • Physical ability to bend, climb, reach, kneel, stoop, and stretch regularly.
  • Strength to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull materials safely.
  • Willingness to work at heights using ladders or lifting equipment.
  • Ability to work in varying warehouse conditions, including temperature changes, humidity, noise, and slippery surfaces.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and non-standard schedules.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in warehouse or logistics environments is helpful.
  • Familiarity with handheld scanning devices or inventory tracking systems.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
