POSITION
Plumber Level II

THE ROLE
Legends Global is seeking a skilled and dependable Plumber to join its facility management team at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. The Plumber will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems and provide related support during events.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain, diagnose, and correct facility plumbing systems.
Provide preventative and corrective maintenance, repairs, and installation of new equipment.
Gather information for the purchase of maintenance equipment and systems.
Respond to routine and emergency calls and make necessary repairs.
Research, develop, and recommend maintenance and capital improvement initiatives.
Monitor system efficiencies and recommend solutions.
Assist in daily oversight of contractors.
Provide event‑related maintenance, services, and support.
Review, perform, and maintain regular department work orders using CMMS.
Conduct regular inspections of workspaces to ensure housekeeping, safety, and compliance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Overall understanding and experience in facility management; event industry experience preferred.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and manage competing demands.
Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and results‑driven approach.
Excellent customer service skills for frequent interaction with customers, vendors, and visitors.
Valid driver’s license and meeting the City’s driving requirements for City equipment.
Current OSHA Forklift and Personnel Lift Certification.
High School Diploma or GED required.
3 years’ experience in maintenance of building and equipment systems in an industrial or commercial setting.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Regular movement around the facility, standing for long hours during events, and the ability to lift and hold at least 50 pounds. Requires manual labor, dexterity, use of hands and fingers to operate tools, reaching with hands and arms, and ability to perform prolonged periods of walking, standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, or sitting. Must be able to work at heights as high as 50 feet using scaffolding, catwalks, and lifts.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Exposure to extreme noise (85 dBA), electrical shock, falls, cuts, bruises, strains, burns, and weather conditions such as heat, cold, wet, and chemical fumes. Protective equipment is required as necessary. Workers must respond to routine, precautionary, and emergency alarms from building automation and life safety systems.
HR INFORMATION
Must be able to work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Regular travel between building properties required.
