Foreclosure Specialist

Managing the foreclosure process for an assigned portfolio of mortgage loans, the full-time remote Foreclosure Specialist will ensure timely completion of foreclosures in accordance with investor guidelines while providing administrative support throughout the process. Key responsibilities Monitor and manage the foreclosure action from referral to post-foreclosure, addressing issues and ensuring compliance with investor deadlines Communicate with foreclosure attorneys to resolve contested actions and title issues, minimizing delays in the foreclosure process Generate reports and provide necessary status updates to investors, ensuring documentation is prepared for audits and compliance Required qualifications A combined 3 years of higher education and/or work experience, including at least 1 year in Default Servicing Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software Experience in Collections, REO, or Loss Mitigation preferred Ability to read and comprehend legal documents related to foreclosure Strong analytical skills and a motivated, team-oriented attitude
