Barista - Full Time

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.
• Handle retail sales transactions efficiently using Toast POS, ensuring accurate cash handling and math calculations.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards.
• Manage cash register operations, including cash handling, balancing tills, and processing credit card payments seamlessly.
• Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management skills.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus.
• Familatrity with Toast POS; strong retail math skills for transactions are essential.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service with a friendly attitude.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change accurately, and processing sales transactions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to food preparation and serving.
• Food industry experience including coffee experience or serving in a café environment is desirable but not mandatory.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
