Phlebotomist (Kansas City, MO)
Innova Solutions has immediate needs for Phlebotomists (of all levels) to support the Kansas City, MO area!
As a Phlebotomist, your responsibilities include:
Administering oral solutions according to established training.
Navigating a computer and accurately entering data.
Obtaining identification and accurately entering billing information and collecting payments when required, following corporate policies.
Performing all non-patient facing duties, including inventory, stocking supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, and utilizing email as appropriate.
Reading, understanding, and complying with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
Assisting with the compilation and submission of statistics and data when required.
Maintaining all appropriate phlebotomy logs in a timely manner and based on frequency, such as maintenance logs and temperature logs.
Completing online and in-person training courses timely.
Required Work Experience:
Phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Keyboard/data entry experience.
Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Phlebotomist certification required.
