As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in implementing patient care plans and collaborating with Physical Therapists to ensure optimal outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Helping patients stretch and exercise specific muscle groups
• Reading and following instructions from the Physical Therapist
• Working directly with the Physical Therapist to assist patients
• Communicating with families to determine the best at-home techniques
• Maintaining a clean and organized physical therapy area
• Assisting patients in moving from wheelchairs or walkers to the therapy area
• Completing administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and filing paperwork
• Teaching patients techniques like balance training

To be successful in this role, you will need: • 1 year of PTA experience

• BLS certification
• Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
• Active PTA license
• COVID-19 vaccine (medical and religious exemptions may apply)
