LMSW Mental Health Therapist

StartDate: 8/10/2026 Pay Rate: $1600.00 - $2400.00

POSITION SUMMARY – LMSW Mental Health Therapist

POSITION DUTIES – Provide clinical assessment, individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and coordinated treatment planning to support patients’ stabilization and long-term recovery.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS –

• VA LMSW
• Licensed in VA to practice therapy
• Masters Degree in SW or Counseling
• BLS
• CPI
• 2 years’ experience in specialty in an acute hospital setting
• Acute hospital experience in specialty during the past year with no more than a 90-day break
• Discharge planning experience
• Experience working in behavioral health
• Experience in providing clinical services to an outpatient population

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS – Adult and/or adolescent experience

LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT – 13 weeks

SHIFT / HOURS PER WEEK – 8:00AM-4:30PM M-F

SYSTEMS – Meditech Expanse
