The QGG Pathfinder program brings together atomic physics, aerospace hardware, electronics, software, supply chain, and mission assurance to mature a flight-relevant quantum gravity gradiometer payload.

Position Summary

Infleqtion is seeking a Project Engineer to drive end-to-end hardware delivery for the QGG Pathfinder program, from product-tree and BOM maturity through procurement, supplier recovery, EEE parts flowdown, kitting, and handoff to Assembly, Integration, and Test (AI&T). This role sits at the center of engineering, supply chain, program controls, and supplier execution. The successful candidate will turn released designs into accountable hardware delivery plans and will help the team see risks early enough to act.

Own the QGG hardware delivery plan/schedule from design release through procurement, receiving, inspection, kitting, and AI&T handoff.

Maintain BOM/MEL/PEL maturity, long-lead status, part-number discipline, procurement readiness, and product-tree traceability.what

Manage Engineering Assurance / engineering article status associated with partner proposal commitments, including action tracking and evidence collection.

Serve as the primary program interface to supply chain for QGG hardware execution, supplier expediting, material shortages, recovery plans, and delivery risk burn-down.

Work with subsystem IPT teams, AI&T, systems engineering, quality, and procurement to resolve part availability, substitution, configuration, and drawing-release issues.

Track open commitments, supplier delivery dates, purchase-order status, inspection status, and material constraints against IMS and EAC/ETC needs.

Drive design-to-procurement and procurement-to-build readiness reviews for high-risk and long-lead items, and come up with strategies to mitigate delays for high-risk parts.

Support CAMs and program controls with cost-to-complete inputs, procurement variance explanations, and material-risk status.

Create concise executive-level status for hardware delivery, material blockers, and supplier recovery actions.
