Part-Time Weekend Unarmed Security Guard

Job Store Staffing is hiring a Front Lobby Unarmed Security Guard to support a secure, youth-centered facility. This role is focused on maintaining a safe and controlled entry point while providing a professional and respectful presence.

The Unarmed Security Guard is a non-engagement role. If suspicious activity is observed, you will report it via radio rather than intervene directly.

Start Date: July 1st, 2026

Schedule and Pay:

• Pay: $23/hr
• Saturday & Sunday: 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: 12 PM-8 PM

Unarmed Security Guard Key Responsibilities:

• Search all bags, deliveries, and personal items entering the facility
• Monitor individuals passing through a metal detector
• Conduct wanding or pat-downs when necessary
• Ensure only approved items are brought inside
• Perform exterior walkthroughs to observe for suspicious activity (as needed)
• Identify concerns such as attempted fence breaches or contraband

Unarmed Security Guard Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Previous security experience or strong customer service background
• Comfortable enforcing rules in a professional and respectful manner
• Ability to remain alert, calm, and composed in a structured environment
• Strong communication skills

Work Environment & Requirements:

• Weapon-free facility
• No phones or personal electronics allowed inside (must be left in vehicle)
• Business casual dress code (belt and closed-toe shoes required)
