ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a Senior DevOps Engineer at LVT, you will play a pivotal role in designing, scaling, and securing the cloud infrastructure and platform engineering solutions that power our next-generation Agentic AI platform and massive IoT edge fleet. Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager of DevOps, you will collaborate with cross-functional software and hardware engineering teams to drive automation, robust GitOps workflows, and resilient systems design. Your expertise will directly enhance the operational reliability, security, and velocity of our global intelligent site technology.
This role is based out of our Seattle, WA location. It will operate on a hybrid schedule initially, with the expectation of transitioning to a full in-person, in-office model.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Infrastructure Architecture: Own, architect, and continuously optimize cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code across multi-region production environments to support LVT’s massive scaling needs.
Orchestration Containerization: Manage, upgrade, and optimize high-availability Kubernetes clusters, focusing on seamless workload performance, advanced networking, and secure configurations.
Deployment Automation: Drive the continuous adoption and maturation of GitOps practices to build robust, secure, and highly predictable deployment pipelines.
Cloud Operations: Design and maintain scalable cloud architectures, managing core services, networking, and identity access management while actively leading cost optimization and resource efficiency strategies.
Security Zero-Trust Compliance: Ensure rigorous security boundaries and secrets compliance across all infrastructure layers by implementing zero-trust access frameworks and modern secrets management systems.
Edge IoT Enablement: Support the operational health, connectivity, and deployment workflows of our global IoT and edge fleet technology, partnering with teams to implement high-throughput messaging infrastructures.
