ABOUT THE ROLE
Absolute Integrated Health is looking for a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our clinic in Plainfield, IL. Working alongside our licensed Physical Therapists, you'll help patients recover from injury, manage chronic conditions, and regain independence in their daily lives.
This is a hands-on position where your skills, warmth, and attentiveness directly shape the outcomes our patients experience every day.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and manual therapy techniques
- Monitor patient progress and report observations to the supervising PT
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety
- Document treatment sessions accurately and in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment
- Calibrate and operate rehabilitation equipment as needed
- Communicate across the care team including physicians and nursing staff

REQUIREMENTS
- Active PTA certification (required)
- Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program
- Current or eligible state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Illinois
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-first mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist patients with transfers
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems

NICE TO HAVE
- 1+ year of clinical experience in outpatient or sports rehab settings
- Familiarity with dry needling, kinesio taping, or aquatic therapy
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Experience with WebPT or similar documentation platforms

WHAT WE OFFER
- Salary: $52,000 – $64,000 per year, commensurate with experience
