Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team. This is a hybrid, based in San Jose, CA (3 days onsite) role, reporting to the Director, Product Management in the Product Management department. You drive the vision, strategy, and execution for Zscaler’s Data Security capabilities, helping expand a cloud security platform built for innovation, scale, and business enablement.

What you’ll do (Role Expectations)

Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for Data Security products, including Web DLP and Email DLP

Define, document, and prioritize product requirements using market research, competitive insights, and customer feedback

Partner with cross-functional teams (Engineering, UX, Support, Operations, Sales, Marketing) to take ideas from concept to successful delivery

Support product deployment and sales enablement across beta and production environments in collaboration with Support, Operations, and Sales teams

Drive and execute go-to-market plans with Marketing and Sales to ensure adoption and measurable product success

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions to optimize outcomes within your functional domain

3–5 years of product management experience delivering Cyber Security solutions

Proven experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and data classification products with understanding of legacy tools and modern AI-based classification methods

Strong technical foundation in Data Security, Email, Proxy, CASB, DSPM adjacent technologies

Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to operate across technical and business stakeholders

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience building roadmap for Data Security, Data Loss Prevention, or advanced AI-based automated data classification solutions

Technical degree or a background in hands-on engineering, providing the architectural depth needed to lead complex product modules

Knowledge of Browsers, Browser plugins and endpoint agents, security frameworks and compliance standards
