What you’ll do

- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow during service hours.
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Participate in menu planning, contributing your ideas for seasonal dishes and specials.
- Handle food items with care, demonstrating excellent knife skills and attention to detail.
- Assist with catering events as needed, showcasing your culinary talents beyond the kitchen.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and ingredients, ensuring freshness and quality at all times.
Basic qualifications
- Experience in fast casual restaurants is a plus.
- Proven experience in food preparation or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
Preferred qualifications
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Previous experience in catering or meal preparation is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
