Job Summary

The Caviar Co. is seeking a proactive, polished, and detail-oriented Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team at our San Francisco store front. This role is central to delivering an exceptional luxury experience to our guests, sharing knowledge of our premium products, and upholding the high presentation standards of our brand.

As a key member of our retail team, you will collaborate closely with our full-time staff to ensure seamless coverage of essential closing hours and busy weekend shifts. We are looking for a reliable self-starter who thrives during bustling retail hours but remains independently productive and helpful with operational tasks when the store is quiet. This part-time role focuses on supporting our primary retail operations and assisting with special events as company needs arise.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Guest Experience: Welcome guests, provide exceptional hospitality, and guide clients through our premium caviar and luxury product selections with enthusiasm and care.
  • Store Operations: Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions, accurately handle cash and card payments, and assist with opening/closing procedures and maintaining store security.
  • Proactive Merchandising: Maintain a pristine, beautifully merchandised storefront. When foot traffic is quiet, independently take initiative on light operational tasks, inventory counting, restocking, and organizing packaging.
  • Product Care: Ensure all temperature-sensitive and high-value perishable products are stored, handled, and displayed according to quality standards.
  • Event & Team Support: Assist with preparation and execution for special events as needed, working collaboratively with the retail and hospitality teams.

What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

  • Schedule Flexibility: Must be willing and available to work the majority of Saturdays and closing shifts to align with business demands.
  • Proactive Mindset: A true self-starter who takes initiative to keep the store immaculate, organized, and running smoothly without needing constant direction during quiet hours.
  • Professionalism: Exceptional communication skills, a polished demeanor, and a passion for fine food, hospitality, or luxury goods.
  • Detail-Oriented: Great care and accuracy when handling high-value luxury products and processing customer transactions.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and remain active for up to 8 hours and lift/move up to 30 lbs as needed for inventory restocking.
  • Eligibility: Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

How to Apply

Please submit your resume along with a brief introduction explaining why you are interested in working with a growing luxury food brand, and a confirmation of your general weekly availability.
