Accountant I

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant I to join our accounting & finance team. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with a foundational understanding of accounting principles who are eager to grow their skills in a supportive environment. The Accountant I will assist with financial recordkeeping, reporting, and analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 0-2 years of accounting experience or relevant internship experience
• Basic knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
