Work Environment
This onsite role is located within a state-of-the-art hospital facility in Honolulu, where you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. You will work standard hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that align with patient goals.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and functional activities designed to restore mobility and reduce pain.
- Educate patients about proper body mechanics and effective exercise techniques for optimal recovery.
- Administer therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, ensuring compliance with treatment protocols.
- Monitor and document patient progress, documenting improvements in range of motion, strength, and overall functionality.
- Prepare and maintain treatment areas, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are organized and readily available.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to coordinate optimal patient care.
- Provide encouragement and emotional support to patients throughout their rehabilitation process, fostering a positive therapeutic environment.
- Adhere to all ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality, recognizing patient rights and dignity.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
