Confidential CNC Machinist (2nd Shift)

Pay: $32-$34 per hours, plus $3.00 shift differential

Position Summary

A confidential manufacturing company is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up, program, and operate CNC lathes to produce precision components while meeting quality and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and related equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Develop, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs.
• Select tooling, determine cutting parameters, and establish machine set-ups.
• Machine parts to tight tolerances and perform in-process inspections.
• Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Collaborate with engineers and quality personnel to ensure product compliance.
• Complete quality and inspection documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of CNC lathe and/or mill experience.
• Strong blueprint reading and shop math skills, including GD&T.
• Experience programming and operating CNC controls.
• Proficient with precision measuring tools and machining to specified tolerances.
• Ability to safely handle tooling, large workpieces, and operate cranes or forklifts.
• Must possess personal machinist tools.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
