Job Title: Palliative Care Physician
Location: Gilbert, AZ
Schedule: Full-Time | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Flexible Hours
Setting: Inpatient Palliative Care with Advanced Practitioner Support
Travel Required: No
Compensation
Salary Range: $300,000 – $400,000 annually
Bonus Structure: Percent of Collections
Sign-On and Relocation Assistance: Negotiable
Call Requirement: One weekend per month (no overnight or emergency call)

Role Overview
We’re seeking a full-time Palliative Care Physician to join our consultative inpatient team in Gilbert, AZ . You'll work closely with two full-time Nurse Practitioners and an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive, consult-based palliative care in a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver inpatient palliative consultations for patients with advanced or life-limiting illnesses
Manage complex symptoms including pain, breathlessness, nausea, anxiety, and agitation
Facilitate family meetings and goals-of-care discussions with clarity and compassion
Collaborate with hospitalists, specialists, and other members of the care team to guide treatment decisions
Provide emotional and decision-making support to patients and their loved ones
Educate healthcare teams on symptom control and palliative care principles
Maintain thorough and timely documentation in the medical record
Help foster a care environment grounded in dignity, empathy, and respect
Qualifications
MD or DO with Arizona medical license (or ability to obtain)
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hospice & Palliative Medicine
Fellowship training in Hospice and Palliative Medicine required
