Role and Responsibilities:

As a Merchandise Stocker, you serve as an essential link between Merchandising and Store Operations, ensuring a smooth and engaging shopping environment. Your role involves maintaining product displays, signage, pricing accuracy, and product availability according to Lowe’s standards.

  • Complete merchandising resets and service tasks following Lowe’s procedures, confirming completion.
  • Prepare and verify buyback items for shipment readiness.
  • Update and verify signage and digital product placement information.
  • Ensure price tags are clearly displayed and replace any that are missing.
  • Boost sales by effectively positioning products, staging clearance merchandise, and organizing displays.
  • Fix or replace damaged or missing signs, displays, and products.
  • Communicate project priorities and timelines with team members and supervisors.
  • Review project performance data and provide feedback to store, regional, and corporate teams.
  • Support customers by responding to questions and assisting in locating merchandise as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills including addition and subtraction.
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Comfort using web-based applications for task tracking and management.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and lift up to 25 pounds independently; accommodations available for heavier lifting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working on Lowe’s sales floor.
  • Familiarity with merchandising tasks such as reading planograms and assembling displays.
  • Experience operating powered equipment like lifts or order pickers.
  • Competence with basic tools including drills, saws, and hand tools.
