Job Duties and Responsibilities of Certified Occupational Therapist:

• Evaluate and address the needs of patients dealing with cognitive and functional impairments that affect their ability to perform activities essential for daily living.
• Craft and execute personalized treatment regimens based on the distinct needs of each patient.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to uphold quality care standards and attain positive results.

• Secure and handle the necessary orders from doctors for effective patient care.

Qualifications and Experience of Certified Occupational Therapist:

• Fulfillment of the educational requirements set by the AOTA for a degree in Occupational Therapy (BS, MS, MA, or OTD) is obligatory.
• Being an OTR may require certification through the NBCOT as mandated by the state.
• Must maintain a valid occupational therapy license in the state of practice.
• Sound organizational and communication expertise.
