Job Description:

The Catering Staff supports the event operations team to ensure the seamless execution of catering orders and events. Core responsibilities include event setup, transporting equipment and food, attending to guests during events, and performing post-event cleanup.

Job Responsibilities:

• Event Management: Organize catering and event provisions according to client specifications and banquet event orders.
• Transport catering essentials, including food, beverages, and equipment, safely and efficiently to event locations.
• Event Venue Setup: Arrange tables, chairs, buffet stations, and other necessary equipment following the banquet event plan.
• Maintain food and beverage availability throughout the event.
• Ensure food service areas are clean, organized, and presentable during events.
• Perform post-event cleanup, including dismantling event areas and properly handling leftover items.
• Deliver excellent customer service to all event attendees.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous Experience:
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience in catering is desirable.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Adherence to prescribed dress code.
• Flexibility to work during event hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Completion of required Food Handling and Alcohol Service training.

Physical Demands:

• Tasks may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged standing or walking.
• Compliance with uniform requirements and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
