The Broward County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified candidates for Groundskeeper (Facilities Maintenance Division)THIS JOB ANNOUNCEMENT WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL FRIDAY, JUNE 26, 2026 AT 5:00 PM - The Broward County Facilities Management Division is responsible for the maintenance and repair of facilities and grounds, minor renovation and capital maintenance projects, paid parking, security and real property management of all County-owned facilities and properties. Duties of a Groundskeeper position involve the installation and care of ground cover, shrubbery and related landscaping, general grounds maintenance work, and performing maintenance and repair of irrigation systems. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: mowing grass; planting and trimming shrubs, ornamentals and trees; fertilizing lawns and plants; and spraying lawns and shrubs to control insects, diseases, and pests.
