Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril's Autonomous Airpower (AA) business line develops and manufactures next-generation unmanned aircraft for U.S. and allied air forces. The AA program finance team is embedded with engineering, program management, and operations to ensure that every dollar of contract value is planned, executed, and reported with discipline. We are building a modern program controls function from the ground up: fast-moving, data-driven, and tightly integrated with the technical teams actually building the aircraft.

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Program Financial Analyst, you will own the financial health of one or more AA contracts end-to-end. You'll partner daily with Program Managers, Engineering Leads, and the broader Finance/Accounting organization to build bottoms-up forecasts, maintain contract budget baselines, execute earned value reporting, and drive margin performance. This role sits at the intersection of FP A and Program Controls — you will spend as much time in Deltek Cobra, Oracle, and the WBS as you do in Excel and Anaplan. You should be comfortable defending your numbers to program leadership and translating program execution risk into financial impact.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Own contract-level financial management across assigned AA programs, including monthly EAC / ETC development and cost/schedule variance analysis

Maintain the contract budget baseline in Deltek Cobra — including work package setup, BCWS phasing, baseline change control, and monthly status

Partner with Program Managers and Engineering Leads to build and challenge bottoms-up forecasts for remaining work (labor hours, materials, subcontracts, ODCs)

Prepare monthly program financial reviews, including profit margin surveillance, actuals-to-forecast variance explanation, and funding/billing position

Reconcile monthly billings to cost performance; support unbilled AR, revenue recognition inputs, and month-end close deliverables

Track and analyze unit cost trends versus forecast, and surface drivers to program and engineering leadership

Support pricing, proposals, and ROM estimates for contract modifications and follow-on work

Build and maintain reporting in Oracle, Anaplan, and Foundry to automate recurring program financial deliverables

Contribute to long-range planning and the annual operating plan for the AA business line

Drive continuous improvement in program controls tools, templates, and procedures

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of experience in program finance, program controls, FP A, or a related finance/accounting role

Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field

Strong Excel modeling skills and comfort working with large datasets

Demonstrated ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills

Must be a U.S. citizen and be eligible to apply for and maintain a U.S. security clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

DoD / aerospace defense industry experience, particularly on cost-type (CPFF, CPIF) or FFP development contracts

Exposure to Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts — CPI/SPI, BCWS/BCWP/ACWP, VAC, EAC/ETC

Hands-on experience with Deltek Cobra, Oracle Fusion, Oracle EPM, or equivalent program controls / ERP tooling

Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and CAS-covered contracting environments

Experience supporting proposals, BOEs, or should-cost analysis
