Position Information
- Employment Type: Part-Time
- Location: Kentwood, MI
- Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 PM-11:00 PM
- Weekend Availability: Occasional weekends as needed
- Hours: Approximately 20-25 hours per week
- Start Date: Hiring immediately
Primary Responsibilities
As an Evening Janitorial Associate, you'll be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment within commercial facilities. Daily duties may include:
- Vacuuming carpeted areas and mopping hard floors
- Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms
- Dusting furniture, ledges, and other surfaces
- Emptying trash and recycling containers
- Sanitizing high-touch areas throughout the facility
- Refilling restroom and breakroom supplies
- Locking or securing buildings when required
- Completing assigned cleaning tasks according to company quality standards
Qualifications
We're looking for team members who are dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing quality service.
Preferred Qualifications Include
- Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is helpful but not required
- At least 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk throughout the shift
- Strong attendance record and punctuality
- Ability to work independently while following established procedures
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
