About the Role Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Corporate Accountant to join their finance team in **Boise, Idaho, US**. Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage the daily activities of the accounting department, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Prepare complex financial statements, reports, and analyses in accordance with GAAP. Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate results. Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal control systems to mitigate financial risks. Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for annual audits and tax compliance. Manage treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting and bank reconciliations. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in accounting operations. Mentor and train accounting staff, promoting professional development and team cohesion. Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Serve as a key liaison for financial matters within the **Boise, Idaho, US** office. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA strongly preferred. Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role. Demonstrated expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
