Liquid Personnel are currently recruiting for an Advanced Practitioner to join a Safeguarding Team based in South London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Social Worker looking to transition into a more management-based role. The role does involve holding a small complex caseload while having some management responsibility of the team and steeping up when the manager is absent.

Duties as a Safeguarding Advanced Practitioner:

You will have a more complex caseload of Child Protection, pre-proceedings and court cases

You will be responsible for assisting social workers to develop experience and skills in managing court work including co-working cases to assist in developing this experience.

You will be required to deputise for the Team Leaders where needed

You will support social workers so that their practice is effective, meets regulatory requirements, complies with statutory guidance, and learns from evidence-based interventions and innovative practice

Requirements as a Safeguarding Social Worker:

Experience working in Child Protection, court work and permanency planning

Social Work England registration

Eligible to work in the UK

Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
