A Friend In Need Home Care is seeking a dependable Overnight Caregiver to provide supervision and support for a senior client in Overland Park, Kansas.

This position is ideal for someone who understands that overnight care requires responsibility, reliability, and attentiveness, even during quiet hours.

Our caregivers help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Schedule

Overnight shift: 11 PM - 5 AM

Consistent overnight coverage needed.

Reliable attendance is extremely important for this role.

Pay

$65 - $70 flat rate per overnight shift (6 hours)

Responsibilities

Overnight caregivers provide supervision and assistance as needed during the client’s normal sleep hours.

Duties may include:

• Monitoring client safety overnight
• Assisting with toileting or mobility if the client wakes
• Providing reassurance and companionship
• Light housekeeping if needed
• Medication reminders (non-medical)
• Reporting any concerns to the office

Caregivers must remain alert and able to respond if assistance is needed during the night.

Overnight shifts are typically quiet supervision, but caregivers must be able to assist if the client wakes.

Requirements

• Dependable transportation
• Strong attendance and reliability
• Experience working with seniors or dementia clients preferred
• Ability to remain attentive overnight
• Responsible with home access and client privacy
• Ability to pass a background check
