Job Overview
Client Name: Lovelace Women's Hospital
Job Title: Pharmacy – Inpatient Pharmacist (Night Shift)
Job Type: Travel (13‑week assignment)
Shift: Night – 10x4 (07:00 PM), 7 on 7 off rotation, 40 hours per week
Compensation: Weekly pay $2388
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of pharmacy experience; experience as a charge pharmacist.
- Experience with patient‑ratio and high‑alert medication management.
- NM Pharmacy license (pending) or equivalent.
- Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), IV Certification.
- Knowledge of antibiotics, anticoagulation, and clinical dosing.
- Proficiency with charting systems, specifically Epic.
- Ability to float to comparable units if required.
Responsibilities
- Provide medication therapy management to a diverse patient population including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Manage high‑alert and sterile medications, including sterile technique and therapeutic monitoring.
- Document medication orders and provide charting via Epic.
- Work night shifts in an inpatient pharmacy setting with a 7 on 7 off schedule.
- Float to comparable units as needed.
Other Details
Daily census: approximately 80 patients; 120 beds available.
