Bristol Myers Squibb is looking for a Material Handler to support CAR‑T production at our Summit, NJ facility. The role involves managing material needs, inventory control, and ensuring regulatory compliance within a team‑based, shift schedule environment.

Shift Available

  • Sunday - Wednesday (with elected Wednesday off), Onsite, 11 a.m.
  • 11:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inventory control: cycle counts, material stocking, scrapping.
  • Manage material expiry, allocation, and maintain material condition requirements.
  • Quantify and maintain materials in the production dispensary.
  • Maintain timing according to the production schedule to ensure on‑time logistics.
  • Record material handling data in a clear, concise format according to GDP practices.
  • Work as part of a team to complete warehousing tasks according to the shift schedule.
  • Operate in an environment that includes blood‑derived components.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of cGMP/FDA regulated industry.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • General understanding of cGMPs.
  • Technical writing capability.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Experience in inventory control and/or management.
  • Background in biology, chemistry, medical or clinical practices.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with no prior manufacturing or operations experience, or associate/medical technical degree with 1‑2 years of manufacturing or operations experience, or high school diploma/GED with 3‑4 years of manufacturing or operations experience.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong MS Office experience.

Preferred Requirements

  • 1 year of GMP experience.
  • 1 year of ERP experience.
