Bristol Myers Squibb is looking for a Material Handler to support CAR‑T production at our Summit, NJ facility. The role involves managing material needs, inventory control, and ensuring regulatory compliance within a team‑based, shift schedule environment.
Shift Available
- Sunday - Wednesday (with elected Wednesday off), Onsite, 11 a.m.
- 11:30 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Perform inventory control: cycle counts, material stocking, scrapping.
- Manage material expiry, allocation, and maintain material condition requirements.
- Quantify and maintain materials in the production dispensary.
- Maintain timing according to the production schedule to ensure on‑time logistics.
- Record material handling data in a clear, concise format according to GDP practices.
- Work as part of a team to complete warehousing tasks according to the shift schedule.
- Operate in an environment that includes blood‑derived components.
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of cGMP/FDA regulated industry.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- General understanding of cGMPs.
- Technical writing capability.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Experience in inventory control and/or management.
- Background in biology, chemistry, medical or clinical practices.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with no prior manufacturing or operations experience, or associate/medical technical degree with 1‑2 years of manufacturing or operations experience, or high school diploma/GED with 3‑4 years of manufacturing or operations experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong MS Office experience.
Preferred Requirements
- 1 year of GMP experience.
- 1 year of ERP experience.
