As Aircraft Manager you will be responsible for;
Review and monitor all open, in-progress, and closed points managed by Technical Shop Floor Support.
Ensure every point is analyzed, assigned, and escalated to the appropriate level.
Drive timely closure of non-conformities and production blockers.
Transfer folios and update SAP when required.
Lead and animate Pre-Quality Gates
Ensure each station is fully prepared to achieve the greenest Quality Gate possible.
Deliver structured and reliable QG reporting
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field required
2+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, aircraft production, or final assembly environment
2+ years of experience in a leadership or team coordination role within a production environment
Experience supporting aircraft final assembly line (FAL), MRO, or large-scale aerospace manufacturing operations
Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain)
Experience resolving production issues, non-conformities, and driving corrective actions (RCCA / 8D)
Strong understanding of industrial performance metrics (safety, quality, cost, delivery)
Familiarity with FAA and/or EASA regulatory requirements
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with commercial aircraft programs
Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
PMP certification
Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment
Location: Mobile, AL
Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000
