Cashier Representative

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Cashier Representative because Being Awesome is not a job title we can use. The perfect recipe for a Cashier on our team? You will be responsible for processing transactions, balancing cash, and providing the best-of-the-best customer service. Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain security and efficiency in managing cash and credit card transactions by accurately operating the Register/POS system.
• Welcome and assist customers by predicting their needs in order to create a positive and supportive atmosphere.
• Oversight of the cash drawer includes counting, organizing, and reconciling the money within; accurately completing cashier slips and making efficient bank deposits.
• Consistently abide by Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures to ensure proper management.
• Gain familiarity with the products available for sale to assist customers effectively and accurately manage transactions.
• Handle the responsibilities associated with both starting and ending operations in accordance with the unit's operating hours.
• Remember to maintain a hygienic and organized work environment during service and when preparing to leave.
• Maintain the location's inventory at appropriate levels by restocking supplies as needed.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures without fail.

Requirements:

• Previous customer service experience is a valuable asset.
• Familiarity with cash handling is an asset.
• Essential requirements include proficiency in basic math and numerical counting skills.
• Proficiency in working independently with limited oversight.
• Compliance with Food Handler and Alcohol Service training is mandatory based on the location's requirements.
• The responsibilities of this role may entail tasks like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing.
• The position may involve wearing designated clothing and/or utilizing Personal Protective Gear (PPE).
