Experience
Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a dental office or clinic setting.
Familiarity with dental assisting procedures, medical coding, and documentation review processes.
Knowledge of anatomy relevant to oral health and infection control protocols.
Experience using EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable.
Prior work in pediatric dentistry or general dentistry environments is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent patient care abilities, and a thorough understanding of dental procedures and terminology. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on providing exceptional oral health services. The Dental Hygienist will be responsible for performing patient cleanings, assessments, and supporting overall dental health initiatives while adhering to strict infection control and HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities
Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planning, and polishing to maintain optimal oral health.
Conduct patient assessments including vital signs, medical history review, and oral examinations.
Take and develop dental radiographs using medical imaging equipment while ensuring patient safety.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
Assist the dentist during various procedures with chairside assisting, ensuring aseptic technique is maintained.
Document treatment notes accurately within EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, including medical records and documentation review.
Monitor infection control protocols adhering to OSHA standards and HIPAA regulations to ensure a safe clinical environment.
Manage patient flow efficiently by coordinating appointments and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
Stay current with dental terminology, medical coding practices, and general dentistry updates to provide high-quality patient care.
Jobley Bonus: $140 (awarded to candidates hired through Jobley)
Shift & Schedule
Tuesdays and Fridays: 9AM-5PM (1 hour lunch break)
