Following the direction of the COO, the SVP of Hospital Operation's primary responsibilities include oversight of hospital operations, strategic leadership, and support for the hospital board through building relationships. Additional responsibilities include leading and collaborating with the consulting team during operationally focused client engagements to analyze, design, schedule, implement, and deliver solutions that meet client expectations while ensuring the profitability and sustainability of the client relationship for operational engagements. This position serves as the main contact between clients and CHC Consulting, overseeing the day-to-day operations of consulting projects through completion, as well as providing support and direction to CHC owned, leased and managed hospitals.

The SVP is responsible for designing, implementing, coordinating, and overseeing the CHC programs and services that assist, support and improve operations at the general acute care hospital which are owned by, controlled or affiliated with, or otherwise supported by Community Hospital Corporation. The SVP shall maintain a close and continuing working relationship with President/CEO and/or EVP/COO of Community Hospital Corporation, including frequent meetings with such officers, to ensure that the critical needs of the Supported Organizations are continuously met.

Major Responsibilities

Manage and mentor the team of subject matter experts assigned to consulting projects; execute and complete assigned projects within the time, scope, and budget negotiated with clients.

Work with clients, CHC’s owned, leased, and managed hospitals, and potential clients to identify solutions to their healthcare problems.

Develop and maintain positive, outstanding personal relationships with clients and CHC’s owned, leased, and managed hospitals.

Assess satisfaction levels of existing clients and prepare remedies or recommendations as necessary in a timely fashion.

Identify problems of clients and CHC’s owned, leased, and managed hospitals, and collaborate with others to rectify the problems, as possible.

Participate in business development activities, including potential client meetings or calls, and assist in the development and presentation of proposals for consulting and management services to hospitals.

General Duties

Regular interaction with corporate staff regarding consulting and management services.

Regular interaction with the CHC Consulting business development team.

Uphold and support the company’s mission, goals, and objectives.
