About the Role Our client is a rapidly expanding organization headquartered in **Boise, Idaho**, and they are actively searching for a dedicated Corporate Accountant. This role is instrumental in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records. The Corporate Accountant will play a key role in month-end and year-end close processes, financial statement preparation, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accountant to make a significant impact within a growing business based in the vibrant **Boise** area. The position requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to financial excellence. Key Responsibilities Perform general ledger accounting functions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Support the year-end audit process by preparing schedules and providing documentation to external auditors. Ensure timely and accurate recording of revenue, expenses, and assets. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed. Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and accounting policies. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards and assess their impact. Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a closely related field. A minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience. CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred. Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent organizational skills and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various departments. Must be able to work in our **Boise, Idaho** office location.
