Machining Production Technician 3rd Shift

Bocar US is seeking a Machining Production Operator to join our team in Tanner, AL. The Operator will load/unload aluminum castings from CNC and assembly machines. The Operator will also straighten and or polish aluminum castings using a variety of pneumatic equipment and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to control output of machines in order to produce quality parts that are within required specifications.
• Perform quality checks on the finished product to verify conformance to specifications and ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Perform setups, changeovers and preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery. Operators will be trained to perform tasks.
• Deburr castings with pneumatic hand tools.
• Straighten castings using hand tools.
• Manual dexterity.
• Use of Hand Tools.
• Performs other miscellaneous duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in reading and writing English and basic math (adding, subtracting).
• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work well in a fast pace environment.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 22 pounds repetitively at a height of 5 feet.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Previous experience with CNC machines is preferred but not required.
