This is a Direct Hire Authority solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD. About the Position: This is an entry level position into the Power Plant Trainee Program at McNary or Chief Joe Dam. The program consists of academic/on-the job training. Upon completion of the first year the apprentice will be promoted to apprentice in the associated trade/craft (Power Plant Operator/Electrician/Mechanic) and complete training requirements of that craft over the next 3 years.
