Job Summary:

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in an acute care facility located in Modesto, California. This role involves attending high-risk deliveries, neonates between 29 and 34 weeks, and managing neonatal patients in a specialized unit. The position offers a highly dynamic environment requiring skilled clinical judgment and experience in neonatal care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid California RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, at least 3 years of relevant neonatal or intensive care experience, and the ability to attend high risk deliveries and neonates including 29-34 week gestation infants.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) levels II and III, charting system proficiency, and previous experience in a hospital or LTAC setting.
• Additional Information: The assignment begins on 08/04/2026, with onboarding including completion of labs within 3-5 days of contract signing. Candidates must provide 7 years of work history verification and references obtained within the last year. All compliance documents are due 10 days prior to the start date. Module hours are recorded via e-learning and are non-billable. No separation time required for return staff or travelers.
