The Dance Complex is a vibrant, community-focused dance studio located in Newport Beach, CA. We are dedicated to providing high-quality dance education and experiences for dancers for ages 2.5 and above. Our mission is to inspire creativity, foster talent, and support our dancers in achieving their personal best. We offer a wide range of dance styles, including Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Contemporary & Acro.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of our studio during their shift, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and efficient environment for both staff and students. This role is pivotal in supporting our mission by communicating with families, registering students, and contributing to our community's growth.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily studio operations, including communications, registrations with families and maintaining the space during shift hours.
- Implement studio policies and procedures to ensure a safe, productive, and welcoming environment.
- Manage and handle customer service activities, including answering inquiries, handling enrollment, managing prospective students, and assisting in resolving any issues or complaints.
- Coordinate with marketing to promote activities to increase studio visibility and enrollment.
- Assist with studio events, such as recitals and other events as needed.
Qualifications:
- Be available Saturday mornings 8:30am-12:45pm.
- Experience in administrative roles, preferably in a dance or fitness studio setting.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using office software, spreadsheets and studio management tools.
- Must live within 10 miles of the studio.
